Trilaminate Fabrics
Trilaminate, as the name suggests, is a sandwich of three layers; a carrier layer of 40g polyester has between 15 and 20 coats of Butyl rubber solution applied - It is then finished with an outer layer of Cortex, Vortex or Nomex, as required.

CORTEX
Hard-wearing 600 denier per metre2 cordura trilaminate fabric.

Renowned for its hard-wearing abilities, Cortex resists scuff and scrapes with it’s strong Cordura outer layer. Available in a choice of colours, Cortex is often chosen for the lower half of rescue drysuits when a stronger lower body is required.

VORTEX
Strong 480 denier per metre2 polyester trilaminate fabric

Proven to be incredibly resistant to scuffing and rips. In addition to its strength, Vortex is very comfortable, proving a popular choice for boat handlers and rescue teams who wear their suits for many long hours at a time.

BREATHABLE Northtech-5
Fully breathable 300 denier per metre2 membrane fabric

Derived from our work with the UK Ministry of Defence to supply military divers with a lightweight yet reliable breathable fabric. The comfort provided by NorthTech-5 fabric ensures heavy work can be carried out by the wearer without compromise.

NOMEX®
Flame resistant trilaminate fabric.

The tough, woven structure of Nomex® is extremely strong, has high heat resistance, is flame retardant (it doesn’t melt or drip) and doesn’t react with water.

CHEMICAL RESISTANT CF-510, AO588 chemical resistant
Single phase polyester fabric coated on both sides with yellow polychloroprene rubber.

A rubber material with excellent resistance to chemical permeation and general pollution ingress. Bright yellow colour provides easy identification of users location. Non-stick surface assists cleaning. Ideal for easy-clean mud rescue drysuits.
