There are several UK company websites stating that they manufacture diving drysuits and equipment for the UK military. Unfortunately, these websites are probably many years out of date and misleading as the only manufacturer to have been awarded this contract is Northern Diver. Awarding of the contract is not taken lightly by the Ministry of Defence, and only after many months of careful assessment and evaluation of quality control management, product designs and a proven ability to deliver, is the award made.
Anyone can say they manufacture for the military - the truth is, only Northern Diver does.

Northern Diver Military Systems provide consistency between products which will be used together or are an option. For example, an anti-magnetic drysuit would be of little use if it was used with an undersuit which was not anti-magnetic.
Therefore, close scrutiny is paid to the production of complimentary products which can include drysuits, undersuits, base layers, socks, hoods and boots. Specialist gloves, bags and associated accessories are also encompassed within the systems.
The same applies to wetsuits where a wetsuit can be part of a system which includes socks, boots, hoods, etc.
