Northern Diver is the brand of choice for the Royal Navy Search and Rescue. Northern Diver suits are used by the Royal Navy Search and Rescue, with the range covering more than 54 different drysuits plus specialised equipment, valves and tools. We were very fortunate in that as these photographs of the new Northern Diver suits were being taken the alarm sounded and Jay O’Donnell was called into action. The Sea King helicopter was minutes later hovering over a casualty in the western approaches to the English Channel. Chief Petty Office Jay O’Donnell rescued 26 crewmen from this stranded vessel during the greatest storm to hit the British Isles in living memory. These gentlemen are people with whom Northern Diver is immensely proud to be associated. Around the clock, around the globe, Northern Diver’s products are in action with the rescue services. |
