  1. Superb Drysuit Knee Pads

Posted by Chris Green on 11th Apr 2013

I bought the brand new Divemaster Evolution 12 drysuit direct from Northern Diver at last years Birmingham dive show, to replace my old Northern Diver drysuit. Sadly, I have put on weight over the last few years and my old Divemaster, although still giving dry dives, was just becoming far too tight.
The new Divemaster is a fantastic improvement on what I thought was already a superb drysuit and I have enjoyed every minute diving in it. However, through a stupid accident, one of the knee pads on my new suit got damaged.

I thought it would be expensive to replace the knee pad (or knee pads), as it is made from kevlar and I assumed it would also involve a costly return of the complete drysuit.
However, as I was browsing Northern Divers web shop, I came across these.

They not only look like the new Divemaster knee pads, when I received them (the following day) they ARE the new Divemaster knee pads.
My local drysuit repair shop replaced the damaged knee pad very reasonably, so I now have a spare (which I hopefully won’t be stupid enough to need).
