What the press say
As it is made of 4mm neoprene that has been 'hyper-compressed', this suit is beautifully flexible and can easily be worn all day long. It also appears to be tough enough to withstand the rigours of UK diving. The neo-vulcanised boots look particularly robust, as do the thigh-length kneepads.
As standard, you get two generously sized pockets, one of which has a lanyard attached to the zip, making it easy to operate with gloved hands - an excellent idea. The other pocket is unfortunately a cross between a pocket and a knife holder, and does neither role well.
Across the shoulders, neck and elbow, Northern Diver has coated the suit with light reflective material for added safety. Both neck and wrist seals are made of Rubbatex neoprene, which are designed to give a comfortable and waterproof seal.
We like the ultra-low-profile dump valve as it makes kitting up easier, and if you should want cuff dumps, there are pre-marked and covered areas on each forearm.
In the water, the suit proved to be flexible and comfortable, and was only let down slightly by the shortness of the cuff seals, which resulted in a trickle of water. You don't get a protective cover over the zip or braces as standard, but you do get a very cosy two-piece fleecy undersuit, an excellent hood, a bag and a repair kit, making the whole package good value for money.
Performance rating: 8/10
Conclusion
Excellent suit and good value for money.

What owners say
"I've just completed my first weekend away with my new Divemaster and all I can say is wow! My old Northern Diver drysuit was a good companion for many years and was a hard act to follow but I really think this suit is the best I could have purchased. If it lasts as long as my old suit then you won't be seeing me for a new drysuit for some time (but I like the sound of your new undersuit range so I'll be trying one of those on soon!)"
