- Competitive annual salary (£40k+)
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
- Holidays - 23 days + Bank Holidays (Closed for Christmas)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage company certification of new and existing products EU, CE and UKCA marking(s)
- Produce supporting documentation for EU, CE and UKCA marking(s) etc. Ensure that all documentation and data conform to the required standards
- Manage Quality Systems and Internal Audits (Responsible for the total Quality and Environmental Functions of the business - ISO 9001 & ISO 14001)
- Responsible for the management of the health and safety compliance
- Identify business risk factors, draft risk assessments, and indicate necessary measures for the health and safety of working environments in compliance with the regulations and legislation in force
- Carry out health and safety inspections, audits, and reviews
- Establish health and safety requirements on site and provide solutions
- Liaise with test and certification subcontractors and suppliers
- Act as point of contact for compliance issues
- Assist Engineering team in new product/process design and implementation to ensure effective quality control procedures and certification are implemented and controlled
- Working as part of a growing Quality and Engineering team
- Occasional overseas travel and Supplier Audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in ISO 9001:2015 Requirements and process improvement
- Hands-on approach
- Excellent Computer Literacy including MS-Office
- Experience in leading/reviewing/approving quality investigations, undertaking root cause analysis, developing corrective action plans, and ensuring the effectiveness of actions undertaken
- Clean Driving Licence
- Proactive and able to work independently
