Testing Technician
Northern Diver are a supplier of diving and associated equipment worldwide from our base in Appley Bridge.
Due to continued expansion we are looking for hardworking, dedicated individuals.
DESCRIPTION
In this role you will be testing diving suits in line with our quality assurance and productivity guidelines. You will be the first point of contact for customers who call us to get updates on their diving suits or quotation enquires. You’ll report into our Repairs Manager and provide an excellent and timely service. Successful candidate should be keen to learn new skills.

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm + 1 in 5 Saturdays, from 9.00am to 12.30pm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Testing diving suits and valves with special equipment (all training provided)
- Sending quotations to customers
- Liaising with customers over the phone
- Identifying failure causes and determine appropriate repair suggestions
- Updating our online system with testing results
- Ensure that work carried out complies with both customer requirements and company procedures
- Liaising with other departments to ensure deadlines are met
- Helping in the alterations/repairs department
- Maintaining testing area in a tidy and safe condition
- Occasionally picking and packing will be required to help our dispatch department during busy periods
- Carrying out any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisory technician
Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.
