Workshop Assistant
Northern Diver International has been established for over 40 years. We manufacture a diverse range of diving equipment for military, commercial, offshore, sport and rescue applications worldwide.
In this role you will support the workshop, repairing diving suits and associated equipment to a very high standard for our customers in line with our quality assurance and productivity guidelines. You’ll report into our Repairs Manager and provide an excellent and timely repairs service. Successful candidate should be keen to learn new skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helping in the alterations/repairs department
- Making alterations to wet suits/dry suits
- Repairing any damaged wet suits/dry suits
- Preparing materials for repairs
- Glue various materials together
- Maintaining workshop in a tidy and safe condition
- Carrying out any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisory Technician
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Can work under pressure
- Have an eye for detail
- Be hard working
- Be a good team player
- Be able to work on own initiative and prioritise work

SALARY: Negotiable depending on experience
HOURS: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
