Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual to support the ongoing development and maintenance of our website. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, excellent written skills, and an interest in digital content and e-commerce.
> Upload, manage, and maintain product listings on the website
> Edit and optimise images for web use, ensuring fast load times and visual consistency
> Good written skills, with the ability to produce product descriptions (with guidance)
> Create and update informative website pages
> Upload and organise supporting materials including datasheets, user manuals, and technical documents
> Ensure all website content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand guidelines
> Apply basic SEO principles to improve search visibility
> Monitor and improve user experience across the website
> Work collaboratively with the rest of the creative team
Training will be provided, so we’re looking for someone who is hardworking, organised, and has a clear creative mindset. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential, as we can support and develop the rest of the required skills. Creativity is essential for this role, along with the ability to confidently use Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN on product knowledge and current systems
Skills & Experience
> Strong written English and attention to detail
> Basic photo editing skills (using Photoshop)
> Experience managing website content or CMS platforms
> Understanding of SEO and digital content best practices
> Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
> Interest in creative, digital, or e-commerce environments
> Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
> Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
> Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
> Knowledge of basic coding or Lavavel system (advantageous)
> Comfortable navigating and using custom back-office systems to efficiently upload content
> Creative, adaptable, and solution-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced environment
> Team player, but able to work independently as needed
> Strong organisational skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities under tight deadlines
> A sense of humour and a positive, can-do attitude
> Previous experience in a similar role (not essential)
Location
Northern Diver (International) Ltd, Appley Lane North, Appley Bridge, Wigan, WN6 9AE. Located just 180 yards from Appley Bridge train station, Northern Diver benefits from excellent public transport links. The train line provides direct access between Manchester and Southport, while buses to Wigan town run every 20 minutes.
Hours
This role is full- time hours only and onsite. Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 17:00 pm. The position is available for immediate start to the right candidate. So, if you feel this is the right job for you and you are looking to work in a friendly environment, we would like to hear from you.
Salary
Dependant on experience.
We also offer 23 days of annual leave plus 8 statutory bank holidays and a company bonus scheme.
