At Northern Diver (International) Ltd, we've been designing and manufacturing world-class diving equipment since 1985. Our products are trusted around the  globe by recreational divers, military and commercial professionals.

We are looking for a Testing Technician to join our friendly team at our headquarters in Appley Bridge.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving drysuit testing, quality checks, customer service and administration. You'll be working with our products, supporting customers and helping ensure every drysuit leaving our Testing Department meets our high standards.

No previous diving industry experience? Thats absolutely fine.

​​​​​​​We’re looking for someone who’s hardworking, reliable and proactive – someone who sees what needs doing and gets stuck in. If you have a positive, can-do attitude and are willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

What You'll Be Doing
> Thoroughly testing drysuits to ensure they meet Northern Diver’s high-quality standards.
> Assessing drysuits and identifying areas that may require attention.
> Recommending suitable repair solutions.
> Preparing and sending customer quotations.
> Speaking with customers about quotations, repairs, payments and any questions they may have.
> Keeping customers updated on the progress of their drysuit.
> Updating our computer systems with accurate testing and customer information.
​​​​​​​> Carrying out final quality checks before carefully packing completed drysuits ready for dispatch.

Hours & Salary

Full-time, onsite
Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm

Starting from £26,500 per annum.​​​​​​​
Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
Immediate start available for the right candidate.
