Job Description
> Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and adheres to health and safety regulations.
> Conduct regular stocktakes and counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
> Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
> Unload, inspect, and store incoming deliveries, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
> Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pump trucks, safely and responsibly (training provided if necessary).
> Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
> Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse processes and contribute to operational efficiency.
> Use of simple spreadsheets and simple computer use including emails.

Skills & Experience
> Previous experience in a warehouse or dispatch role is required.
> Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
> Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
> Good communication skills.
> Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
> Physical capability to handle manual tasks and lift heavy items safely.
​​​​​​​> FLT licence is desirable.

Location
Northern Diver (International) Ltd, Appley Lane North, Appley Bridge, Wigan, WN6 9AE. Located just 180 yards from Appley Bridge train station, Northern Diver benefits from excellent public transport links. The train line provides direct access between Manchester and Southport, while buses to Wigan town run every 20 minutes.

Hours
This role is full- time hours only and onsite. Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 17:00 pm.  The position is available for immediate start to the right candidate. So, if you feel this is the right job for you and you are looking to work in a friendly environment, we would like to hear from you.

Salary
£26,500 per annum
