We’re looking for an Accounts & Supply Chain Assistant to join our team at our Appley Bridge headquarters. This is a role for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys keeping things moving.

You’ll play an important part in making sure our products are imported correctly whether they come in from across the UK or worldwide.  You’ll help co-ordinate shipments, work with freight partners and suppliers, in accountancy aspects of stock management and shipping

​​​​​​​ ​​​​It’s a varied role where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll be working across the company, working closely with our sales, warehouse and wider teams. If you enjoy being organised, solving problems and making sure the details are taken care of, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing
Every day will be a little different, but your role will include:
> Assisting with day-to-day import logistics
> Assist, preparing and processing shipping, customs, commercial and transport documentation.
> Monitoring shipments Supporting customs declarations
> Gathering shipment readiness information
> Ensuring import activity complies with UK customs requirements, international trade regulations and company procedures.
> Modifying stock records and working with the warehouse count and reconciliation.
> Ad Hoc Projects

What We’re Looking For
The role is ideally suited to someone with accountancy experience who wishes to have more commercial experience in a manufacturing environment

You’ll ideally be:
​​​​​​​> Accounts background ​​​​​​​
> Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
​​​​​​​> Confident communications ​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​> Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
​​​​​​​> Experience with Accounting packages​​​​​​​

Hours & Salary
Full-time, onsite
Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm
£30,000 p.a. dependent on experience.​​​​​​​
