Description
Three Channel underwater communication 55 metres under the surface.
The battery life on the Logosease LGS-RG004 Underwater Comm's is three hours if it's in continuous use. It can be used in water temperatures from 0°C to 40°C. Depth tested to 55m, the maximum communication range is 50m to 100m, whichever channel of the three you use. There are three channels available for use; A, B and C; although the device is preset to Channel A.
The LGS-RG004 trasmits and receives communications through ultrasonic waves while the microphone and speaker use bone conduction. It's easy to operate, you can either choose to go hands-free using the Voice Activated Transmit (VOX) or choose to tap to switch between transmitting and receiving.
VOX mode allows you to use two-way radio hands-free. With the LGS-RG004 it keeps the microphone active all the time so that it'll automatically start transmitting when you speak. However, if there's no sound for three seconds, the transmitting mode will change to receiving mode. When you don't have VOX mode activiated, when you're in receiving mode simply tap once and transmitting mode will start. Tap once when you're in transmitting mode, transmitting will end and receiving mode will begin.
You can even use the LGS-RG004 as a voice recorder. There is also a training mode.
